hi guys, gals and nonbinary pals! my phone was stolen! life is a nightmare!
anyway, i’ve got an old phone i can use in the interim, but it’s got a host of problems and isn’t great for various reasons. also, the longer i go unable to get a new version of the phone that got stolen, the higher the likelihood that my mother finds out and therefore kicks my ass. so i’m asking for commissions / donations so as to replace this baby sooner rather than later. you can see some of my art on my art blog, as well as scattered around various tags on various other blogs. my style is very varied, and i’m willing to offer discounts!!
this isn’t as the same priority as someone starving, of course, and don’t feel pressured to help if you can’t! my primary purpose is a.) get a phone i can use for sex work, which makes a large amount of my income and b.) avoid my mom’s emotional abuse if it comes to light that it was stolen ( luckily i’m enough states away that physical abuse is impossible, though she can and has called my place of work / associates / etc. to ruin my life in lieu of being able 2 actually beat me ). i understand if you can’t afford a commission or donation at this time, or just don’t want to — please don’t feel bad! if you can, reblogs would be appreciated but once again — don’t feel required.

EDIT: figured this deserved from more elaboration. I’ve been feelin sick as hell since friday, n saturday night vomited all over myself and then promptly lost any sensation or control over my legs and fell three times in the 8 ft trek from the bathroom to my bed and still had 2 drag myself off the floor into my bed. between the dizziness n the shortness of breath and the headaches n the chest pain and the nausea and just everything else i finally dragged my ass to urgent care, where they were like “holy Fuck pls go 2 the er.” the only one remotely close is outta network, but i literally felt like i was gonna die, so i let a housemate take me. they did some tests, came back with severe tonsilitis n prescribed me a steroid 2 lessen the tonsil swelling but not…anything for my myriad of other symptoms, gave me the lil speech “hey if u have shortness of breath of dizziness come back” and i was like “lmao i have those right now” and they were “go home bitch” so here i am??? my fevers hovering abt 101-102 and they’re like “eat tylenol like its ur job”
( the iv they plugged into me did help the dizziness, tho i woke up like 2 hrs ago shaking so violently that my hands didnt work i could barely walk and couldnt breathe at all so yknow guess ill die )
anyway. i just moved down here so im gonna try to find an in-network primary care physician tomorrow and see if by some miracle i can get in this week, but the fact of the matter is i’m still gonna be saddled with those fuckin er bills for a trip that did me very little actual good??? money to help put a dent in those would make me feel mildly better, and also make me feel like guilt for still needing to make a proper appointment. if that’s not possible for you, i totally understand! pls spread the word if u can tho

ah, okay, so we’re back on this shit again. my dog needs a mobility sling, or a nylon carrier. this is my dog; she is a 40 lb dog,11 years old, and is having trouble getting up the stairs. its about time for her to get a sling, or anything that i can put her in to help her get up the stairs. my best friend was going to cover the purchase but ended up being unable, so i’m going to gently turn here for help, as no one in my family can or will buy it for me. my paypal is hghars@aol.com; in return for donations all i can offer is my art, or icons, of which you can find on this blog tagged under ‘mine.’ thanks.

hi! pre - emptive i’m sorry so i feel less compelled to constantly apologize as we go. money issues again. in about two weeks, i’m moving from central illinois to denver, colorado, for an incredible job thing. i’ll be helping women and previously incarcerated people, living in community housing with a bunch of people who want to do good the way i do. it’s also a way to finally get out of the home of my abusive, homophobic parents. because it’s a peace corps adjacent sorta deal, i’ll be making very little money for the year. that’s fine, mostly; i can defer most of my loans, housing is paid for with the program, etc. i know it might read as irresponsible to take this position knowing that i won’t make much money, but i need to get out of illinois and away from my family.
there’s some shopping that needs to get done before i get there, though. i need new work clothes and a good pair of tennis shoes and winter boots ( my current ones have holes thru them and are worn thru on the sole ) and etc etc. my parents were planning to help me buy this stuff, but mom’s backed out for Bad Reasons, leaving me stuck.
anyway; if you can, i’d appreciate any donations! they’ll go towards the bare minimum clothes n stuff that i absolutely can’t go without. if there’s anything left over will mostly go in my savings for loans n stuff that are gonna be harder to defer. please don’t donate if your position is precarious or doing so would put you under! just reblogging is great, or a prayer if you’re the praying type!
