im just. aside from the retcon of dalish only having three mages per clan being fuckin stupid im confused as to why suddenly everyone knows about what the dalish do, when previously its kind of been established that non-dalish know dick shit about that life. but suddenly! everyone’s privy to the fact that all dalish clans only have three mages! vivienne straight up says her knowledge about dalish magic is all third hand but we’re just supposed to accept her stating that all dalish mages not appointed first or second are cast out its just bs!
